Hyperbolic Paraboloid Nodes Project
The idea behind this project was to create a system or a structure and analyse its nodes in terms of 3D printing. We wanted to unify the different connection nodes and see the differences between the ones that were not as similar as the others.
Renders of the Hyperbolic Paraboloid made out of GFRP rods and 3D printed nodes.
Here we can see the different types of nodes available and its characteristics (we can visualize the cuts where the glass would stand if built.
The type of mesh was also analysed to reach a maximum detail in the 3d printing.
